Voting Information

Many campaigns add voter information to help supporters register to vote. A voter information page is one of the default pages, but it should changed or archived/deleted if you choose. NOTE: The links below are NOT live.

Register to Vote

You can check your voter registration status and register to vote on the Secretary of State website.

There is also a paper form that you can download from the website.

Pre-registration closes on October 14, 2025, for the November 4, 2025, Election. After that time, you will need to register on Election Day or if voting by absentee ballot as part of that process and instructions will be provided with your absentee ballot. 

 

Absentee Voting

Absentee voting for the November 4, 2025, Election begins September 19, 2025. Applications can be completed now and mailed to Anoka County, and your ballot will then be mailed by September 19th or upon receipt after that date. All ballots must be returned by Election Day in order to be counted. 

Absentee voting for 2025 is being processed by Anoka County. Lino Lakes voters should return their absentee ballot applications and completed ballots to Anoka County

In-person absentee voting will be hosted by Anoka County Elections at the Government Center, located at 2100 3rd Avenue, Suite 160, Anoka, MN 55303. For questions, call Anoka County Elections at 763-324-1300.

Hours for absentee voting (Anoka County Government Center Only):

Beginning September 19, 2025, hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional hours on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, November 3rd until 5 p.m.

 

When to re-register

Your registration is permanent unless you move or change your name.

Address changes

If you have moved within Anoka County, you must transfer your registration by re-registering. You may choose to write your new address on the back of your voter identification card and mail it to the Anoka County Election & Voter Registration Office

You must re-register with the local election authority or county clerk if you move to an address outside of Anoka County.

Name changes

Voters who legally change their name, but not their address, do not have to re-register. If you have changed your name, you can vote after updating your information at the polls.

Where do I vote?

Lino Lakes will be using the same seven polling locations in 2025 as were used in 2024. You can find your Polling Location online.
